Rehab Center Payment Options

Medicare Part A often covers at least part of a resident's stay in the Rehab Center at Masonic Pathways. Assuming the resident is enrolled in Medicare Part A, the program pays 100% of the cost of residency for up to 20 days. If a beneficiary requires more than 20 days of service, the beneficiary (or his/her other insurance) is responsible for a co-insurance payment of $124/day for days 21-100. In both cases, the resident must meet the following criteria:

• He/she must have had a three-day hospital stay at some point within the thirty days immediately prior to admission.
• He/she must have a documented need for skilled nursing facility services (such as a need for therapy or skilled nursing care).
• He/she must have remaining coverage days available.  (There are annual limits to coverage as well as required waiting periods between otherwise qualifying events.)

 The Rehab Center at Masonic Pathways also accepts most types of private insurance and private pay.
